The Z880 is the most versatile, flexible and easy to use microscope on the market.

FEATURES

Independent 140° head rotation with inclinable binoculars is an exclusive feature only available on the Z880. Other reconstructive microscopes force the surgeons to work directly across from each other. This may be inefficient and undesirable. Medlink's unique head rotation gives the surgeon and assistant the flexibility to work either side by side, 90° apart, or at any other convenient point within 180°.

Dual zoom and independently-controlled assistant fine focus allow both users to independently choose the magnification for a wider, all inclusive view. This feature gives both the surgeon and assistant much more versatility, enhancing the quality of teamwork.

Controls for X-Y movement, focus and zoom are facilitated by two foot pedals and two hand switches. The hand controls are easier to use, making the set-up period more timely and accurate. The foot controls free up the surgeon's hands when operating. These two features help maximize the versatility of the Z880.

The fatigue-free multicoated optics result in stereopsis with optimum color, clarity, depth of field, high resolution and field width.

A Motorized column control allows 20" of fingertip-controlled travel, making it easy to achieve gross focus.

True 4" by 12" X-Y movement is the largest amount of travel available today. Instead of a pendulum movement, which tilts the microscope and can affect the focus, true X-Y movement is along a single plane, which makes it much easier to use. The X-Y is repositioned entirely by the full-function foot control or hand control, and includes a self-centering feature.

Horizontal and vertical tilt provide the surgeon with the unlimited flexibility to use at any angle needed for executing the most complicated modern procedures.

Twin fiber optics deliver optimal illumination, decreasing reflections and resulting in a bright shadow-free field.

The 35 mm camera and video systems operate with independent zoom controls. Since the system requires no beamsplitter, there is no loss of illumination to either surgeon.

The Z880 compacts to 64 inches for easy storage.
