Fuse Legend

1. Make sure everything blue (silicone knob covers and Praeger handle) is sterile.

2. Plug in the microscope. Turn on power.

3. Roll microscope into place.

4. Push X-Y Center and Focus Center buttons.

5. Adjust column height for work position.

6. Loosen black knobs and move dual head into a good working position.

7. Rotate X-Y so A-head is pointing where the surgeon wishes to sit.

8. Rotate the head and carrier on the X-Y so A-side is facing the silver bar on the X-Y.

9. Set the X-Y Orientation Selector to "L."

10. Readjust Horizontal and Swivel Arms as necessary and tighten all 4 black knobs to lock position.

11. Place the A and B-side foot controls.

12. Step on black stoppers on H-base. (Release by stepping on edge of silver plate.)

13. Adjust binocular incline, rotation, and distance between eyepieces for comfort.

14. Rubber eyecups down for glasses, up without.

15. Rough focus by moving column up or down until light beams converge.

16. Adjust light intensity.

17. Zoom in fully, focus A-side, zoom out to work field.

18. Adjust B-side focus with knobs at bottom of binoculars.

19. Set Diopter Control to eyeglass prescription or taste.
